Instead, we're very big on doing everything we can to provide buyers with as much information as we can pull together on a site from a wide range of resources such as SEOmoz and Copyscape to assist in site valuation. Our support team is also focussed on validating or removing any website listings that our users report as containing bogus seller claims.As far as non-paying bidders are concerned, this is something we take very seriously it pains us to see an auction end only to have a seller back out. Fortunately, our site seller research indicates that this happens at a low single-digit percentage of the time (ie thankfully well short of your 1 in 4!). If a buyer backs out of a sale, we typically suspend the account and actively block any attempts by that user to rejoin. We're also refining a number of options to further assist sellers in qualifying buyers prior to accepting a bid stay tuned for some great additions in first-half of 2011.
